At the 2018 instalment of the Naidex show last week, TGA Mobility successfully delivered a multi-dimensional showcase to consumer and trade visitors.
The TGA stand and mobility test track was a Naidex show highlight this year with significant visitor footfall throughout the two days. The complete TGA product portfolio was displayed alongside two new innovations – the ground-breaking WHILL C Personal EV (powerchair) and Autofold Minimo mobility scooter. Naidex attendees were able to see these products for the very first time on the TGA test track, which provided the ideal arena to experience the WHILL C.
WHILL C represents a breakthrough in contemporary mobility product design. Developed by talented Japanese designers, WHILL C is unlike any other affordable powered wheelchair – it combines revolutionary aesthetics, manoeuvrability and comfort with advanced transportability. WHILL C has been specifically developed for style-conscious individuals who seek a contemporary product for assured independence and a confident lifestyle. It builds on the innovation of the 4WD WHILL M with the added advantages of lower cost, a lighter design and the ability to be dismantled for car boot storage. Nevertheless, it still encompasses many technological features of the larger WHILL M including the revolutionary all-directional ‘Omni’ front wheels – ensuring the tightest of spaces can be negotiated with the smallest feasible turning circle.
TGA also launched the latest addition to its best-selling folding scooter range – the Minimo Autofold. As the need for compact scooters continues to rise, TGA is once again ahead-of-the-curve with this new innovation. The Minimo Autofold incorporates advanced technology so powered folding is delivered through the touch of one button. Eliminating the need for manual operation, this action maximises convenience whilst reducing the need to bend down – an ergonomic advancement aimed at back injury prevention.
The TGA Mobility test track was busy throughout the show with visitors test driving scooters and powerchairs in a safe environment. Enhanced with more features for 2018, the track encompassed different scenarios and surfaces that simulated everyday obstacles. This provided the opportunity, for both trade and consumers, to appreciate the outstanding performance and stability that TGA scooters provide.
Daniel Stone, TGA Managing Director summaries: “We believe visitors to our stand and test track have benefited greatly from experiencing the ‘TGA difference’ at Naidex 2018. The team and I received positive feedback from all attendees, both consumer and trade, especially regarding the new WHILL C and Minimo Autofold. Whether visitors were professional or end user, they were able to witness first-hand why we continue to be a leading specialist. Our engineering excellence and award-winning styling was clear for all to see. The interest and energy generated at Naidex now gives us the perfect platform to accelerate success this year, both for us and our customers.”
