TGA, the UK’s leading specialist supplier of mobility scooters to retailers, has celebrated its 30th birthday at Trade Days 2015 whilst achieving healthy product orders especially for its new and enhanced folding Minimo Plus.

TGA_Trade_Days_2_postThe TGA exhibition stand was well attended by focused buyers looking to taking advantage of 30 exclusive trade offers on scooters and wheelchair powerpacks. This range of discounts and added value offers, in celebration of TGA’s anniversary, delivered impressive saving and once again reiterated TGA’s commitment to the trade. Its product showcase included many best-selling models and the latest marquee Minimo Plus was regularly demonstrated to visitors.

New to the UK market, the folding Minimo Plus is now one of the lightest car-boot scooters in its class with new weight-saving features such as carbon fibre components and a removable seat for easier lifting. Other innovations include a new safety sensor that can reduce speed when driving around corners, ergonomic armrests and built-in LED headlight. The ultra-lightweight lithium battery enhances usability even further as it only weighs a mere 2.65kg. Theses sector leading features and associated show offers delivered significant Minimo Plus orders for TGA especially during day two of Trade Days.

Tim Ross, TGA National Sales Manager commented: “We are delighted to report that Trade Days has helped us continue our strong trade sales following our first ever £1 million turnover month during the summer. The trade-only format of the show is excellent for us as the demographic of each visitor is similar and we can be more targeted with our discussions. As the opening day was on Sunday, the attendees were high quality and keen to engage with us in a focused manner – especially regarding our new and enhanced Minimo Plus car boot scooter.”

In addition to a busy exhibition stand, TGA were able to take advantage of the Demo Zone with several key retailers. This area provided the opportunity to test drive award-winning scooters such as the Breeze S4 and Vita X. TGA were main sponsors for this show feature this year, which included a series of obstacles to test the manoeuvrability and off-road capabilities of scooters. The flagship TGA Breeze S4 demonstrated why it has successfully achieved two world record attempts and provided one of the most stable and safest rides for over ten years. The Vita X, with its revolutionary suspension system developed in the motorcycle industry, was also put through its paces across an off-road simulated track.

Tim concludes: “Over and above product orders, Trade Days has given us the opportunity to explain why TGA scooters deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction and help maintain healthy margins for dealers – particularly through our A-Class scheme. We continue to strengthen our relationships with the right kind of retailers so sustainability and ethics are upheld as the sector continues to grow. Trade Days has been a strategic success for TGA and we congratulate the organisers for delivering on their promises.”
