Naidex, the UK’s largest independent living and mobility show, announce a Trade and Healthcare Professionals only day for its 2016 edition. Over 6,000 Trade and Healthcare Professionals attend Naidex annually to meet the 220+ exhibitors and attend the free CPD accredited conference at the event.
This event brings together health and social care professionals, specialist manufacturers, retailers, public sector purchasers and consumers and is the only national exhibition for the entire independent living sector.
Portfolio Director, Alison Willis comments: “We are delighted to announce this significant change to the show which has as much history as Naidex. After 42 years we feel that we need to ensure we are offering the best possible networking opportunities for all our audience groups and exhibitors. This development provides a much improved platform for our Trade and Healthcare Professionals in order to fulfill their needs.”
During the Trade and Professionals only day, which will take place on the 26th April – the first day of the event, visitors and exhibitors will have the chance to schedule meetings and explore the latest technologies and developments in the market.
“The aim during this day is to connect the professional world to help facilitate specific dialogues that are very different to consumer interactions during the rest of the event. We will offer a specialised conference programme and relevant professional activities, which will only take place during this first day,” Willis adds.
“As part of the new offering, Naidex has listened to key wheelchair exhibitors to raise the level of healthcare professional attending the show. Consequently, we are very proud to announce our latest partner the Posture and Mobility Group (PMG) who will appear at the 2016 event for the first time. PMG will create a one day conference programme delivered on the 26th April. Aimed at Wheelchair Clinicians and senior level OTs the content will focus on the posture and wheeled mobility needs of people with physical disabilities and their equipment and service requirements. This will be free to attend for all Trade and Professional visitors. More details will be available soon.”
Naidex will be open to all audience groups, including consumers, on the 27th and 28th April.
